How do I know if I have sciatica or fibromylgia? They are the only two conditions that might explain my current symptoms. I really don't want to go on pain meds but I'm having trouble at work.
Only docs can tell, I guess.

I have sciatica. For me it feels like someone has taken an electrical prod to the back of my upper thigh.

FinnZane: I have a milder version of that feeling. It is a very painful ache but runs down my entire leg from the thigh and sometimes into my foot.
Have you tried stretching. I find that stretching a few days in a row can help.
