I really need to get Darc having more sex so the first part I am very interested in...if anyone would want to with a grumpy halfbreed who isn't overly fond of humans...
and I'm really interested in the exploration part, but I'm not sure what it means by the Hedonists can't revive them if they die?

that's a shame. but that doesn't mean it won't be fun to play necessarily. I like that Arc: TotS mostly adds up and has a very solid plot, but I enjoyed FF8 for example, even though I still don't really know

They're not bad or hard, it's just when they came out on different platforms they seemed optional...except big chunks of story get revealed in them.
So you wind up having to play all the games to get the full picture. XD

And if you don't care about Organization XIII, 358/2 Days, but that's where you learn all the intricacies of the bad guys.
What they do day to day, that sort of thing.
it's always nice to get as much of a picture about the characters as possible I think, so they seem more three dimensional.
One of the things I really love about Arc: TotS is there is a lot of character development.
Well the interesting thing about Days and the end of the Re:Coded movie in 2.5 release
If I picked up Darc from the beginning of the game, or god forbid the middle/certain points after significant events, he'd be very different.
Is that they are painting some of them as capable of redemption.

Ammeschan: Darc is still very new to the whole sex thing. But he's definitely the dominant type, so that works. He's only gotten a blow job so far, so there's still a ton of stuff he doesn't know about.
diremuta: Hmm! Animalistic sex would be fun, but that would be quite normal for him probably so I'm not sure. maybe something more relevant to fairy tales somehow?

he'd have major hangups about master/slave and S&M type stuff outside of mutual kinds of rough sex because of his history, and he's body-conscious, but that's it.
Ammeschan: yeah no need to play human at all. It's not as though he really knows all that much about humans besides species stereotypes anyway, heh. He's only just learning to get along with them when the game

I don't think Demyx would want to go that far, that kind of thing hits too close to home. As much as he wants to be dominated in the bedroom beyond that it's way too close to reality.

He's not a slave exactly, more like captive to a madman thanks to a stupid decision he made when he was a child. He can't change his fate on penalty of death.

The bad guys aren't exactly nice. He hates his job, but does it because really the alternative sucks and currently from his timeline, they're trying to bump him off.
He's been too annoying for too long and they just don't need him anymore.

One thing I really like about Arc: TotS is that everyone is morally grey rather than an out and out bad guy and you can easily see how they're all the heroes of their own stories, even though some of them are
terribly misguided. Apart from the Lord of the Black Abyss who admittedly is just evil for no apparent reason.
