Whats the benefit to using the microwave?

even heating. Even using a lower temperature, the toaster oven tends to bring the heat up on the outside too fast and the inside not enough.

Working on a balance to doing to basic baking part in the microwave, and the finishing in the toaster oven.

cookies I can get away with at least decently on the toaster oven.. brownies need more than just toasting.

I try to avoid using the oven much during the summer. Grill and toaster oven mostly. Just working on learning how to compliment the toaster baking with a microwave start.
