Have you tried sleeping with an ankle brace on so you don't bend your ankle back to let the muscle contract and spasm?

I'd probably look into taking a daily potassium supplement as well for an extended period of time

giggles I love you Ryleigh umm no never tried a brace -- kicks in her sleep; yah might need to - with the potassium and umm heat and me.. well hmm that never works for the charlie horses lol

Heat keeps muscles relaxed. Water helps too through the day to prevent the spasms, stay hydrated

And stretch it really really good before you go to sleep!
...is on much water and lasix which I was reading COULD cause the issue - but I've had said issue prior to the swelling in my ankles/legs
specially when I start swelling - and I swell at random times mind you I drink at least half a gallon of water a day - not counting other stuff lol
