Splurging to get a canopy for the patio outside my room. Here's hoping it drops the temp in my room 10 degrees.

That's tempting but I think my neighbor would pitch a fit. Not that he should be looking over the fence into my room but he does anyway. He'll claim it's against HoA. :/
