Some people in my flat have bought tickets for club type event (called Icebreaker) and idk whether to go too? I know that it would be good to get to know people in my flat but partying really isnt me xD

There are events run by my student union that are much more tame and fun, like making bunting or learning yoga and stuff

Not everyone will get tickets for the first event. In my block there's a few of us that aren't. We're going to stay in and play some games and icebreakers

perhaps you could ask around, see who isn't going and sort out a plan with them

explain you aren't a party person and try to go to the other events instead

I want to do things with my flatmates to show that I'm willing to have fun with them, but people getting drunk at a club thing (to music I dont even like haha) isnt my ideal fun

I could do that At least its at the end of the week, and if there are any tickets left near then and then want to go then I could get some The only thing with that is that apparently this event-

^perfect excuse to not go. Tell them that it's not really your thing, you want that day to settle in and get everything sorted. You're willing to do other things with everyone

And don't worry, I felt the same but I've been talking to various people in my accommodation and after a while I figured out that quite a few people didn't want to party that much either

And also so I can guilt them, They're offering to help me move in now because they felt bad
