So it's part of a program called RASC-AL where the client is NASA and if they like our idea they fly us out to Cape Canaveral in June to present to their team members. The project I'm on is one of two this year

and it's a mission spanning 10 to 15 years in which we design an autonomous base on the dark side of the moon that will drill the ice for gases and other minerals so that we might be able to make a "pit stop"

for astronauts on their way to distant planets like Mars.

We need to make a team of drills as well as a base to hold all of the stuff

I'm really excited but also nervous. The middle-man between us and the client is Angel who is my adviser for my Space and Planetary Science ASI
