Later I had a similar issue with steak, and my throat has been sore lately, so maybe the skin there is easily irritated?

sore as in sickness sore, or sore as in inexplicably raw/scratchy/etc.?

Both, but mostly the second. It's like I'm getting a pre-sick sore throat, but nothing ever comes of it. It's been like this for a month now

It's very very mild, and not constantly present. It's just this weird off and on thing
