daughter spilt milk on the tablet...the one that keeps her tantrums at bay (she's autistic). omg...she's already freaking out that it's not workin. 
Try placing it in a bowl of dry rice! It may work after a day or two hopefully!
A friend of mine left her iPod in her pocket when she put her clothes in the wash. She kept it off for 2 days and amazingly it worked when she turned it back on again!
it was off when it went into the wash also though, which could make a difference. Maybe if tablet was off when the milk got on it, it'll still work once dry? I hope it will!
