This game operates heavily on dream logic. Many characters should be operating under the assumption that they totally do have all of their memories! The AU kind of fills in the gaps with BS.

So for example if one AU'd character goes up to another and is like SO YOU HAVE AMNESIA RIGHT?? your character is welcome to be like "what. no? i remember everything"
