one of the trees that has been in front of my apt windows for 18 years fell due to the high winds we have today. I didn't expect to feel so sad about it. Poor tree. 
the only good thing is that there day care center playground next to the tree but it fell in the other direction.
firemen and the cops are here, I feel like a big part of my view is missing it was like 4 stories tall and I'm on the 5th floor.
The important thing is that nobody was hurt, except for the tree.
