Did you know how easy it is to back up your Firestorm settings? And restoring them if you need to is even easier... but only if they're already backed up.

Havin' to log into each account to back up th'settings is tedious. Don't th'settings already live on th'hard drive? Why not one button t'back 'em all up at once?

sammflorian: You have global settings and you have per-account settings. The global settings are backed up all at once. But by definition the per-account settings need to be done per account.

The viewer doesn't know who the accounts are that aren't logged in, and it can't detect folders on your computer it isn't specifically pointed to.

It doesn't, it stores them on your computer, and that's why I mentioned it can't detect folders on your computer that it doesn't know to look for.

Your global settings are in one place and are accessed by all accounts you log in on. Your per-account settings are in separate subfolders, and unless you are logged in on that particular account, Firestorm

doesn't even know they exist.

They could change Firestorm so that it DOES know, is what I'm sayin'. Why not? Searchin' a directory's easy enough, and Firestorm remembers all my accounts anyways.

I don't know if it's possible or not, but to request it and see if it goes anywhere, you'll want to file a JIRA: System Dashboard - Firestorm Bug Tracker
