...throat was sensitive and some food went down the wrong pipe and my lungs and windpipe nearly exploded...no more solid food for a few more days...

...I was forced to eat congee when I was a child...took me 25 years to start not to hate it...and even now I am not crazy about congee unless it is really good...
I don't like congee either, rather eat noodles soup instead
