im trying to be non-biased watching these things but omfg do republicans piss me off. The amount of slippery slopes like literally my dad used the same words. I tell him the movement itself isnt calling for

the death of police officers, he says that the movement is justifying it. I say that black lives should matter, he says that there's no justification and that more white people have been killed by cops

which is true but if you look at the statistics, there are 75% white people in the country, and 49% of the deaths at police hands have been them. Yet there are 14% black people (if i remember right) and 28%

black deaths at police hands. He doesn't recognize that the ratios don't add up. And it's not just murders. It's traffic stops and other arrests. Black people are way more targeted

plus when i mentioned that police brutality is obviously a problem if so many people are dying, white and black, he tried to say that wasn't part of the argument and then tried to say that all lives should

matter in that case

my point here was that political parties have such a group mentality it's wild. But I see way more of the pre-planned arguments coming from fox news and the republicans than i do from any other
