Is it weird that I'm looking forward to finishing this antibiotic course mostly so I can eat yogurt again? Feeling back to normal is gonna be a perk too, I guess.
I had to go low dairy so the calcium won't interfere with the antibiotic and I never realized just how much cow juice I consume in a normal day. I miss it now!
smilingturtle: Monday! They're so strong that my intestinal flora is really off now so I'm gonna need plenty of yogurt with live cultures. I just stocked up on my favorites!
Ooh, I get to have my orange juice too! It's not a daily thing but I have a bottle on the fridge that's calcium and vitamin D fortified and it's teasing me with its unavailability.
DPUTiger: I'm a huge Fage fan because it's the most similar to what I actually ate in Greece, but I also love the Chobani flips (and only the flips) as a dessert since they're high in calories.
I'm also crazy for a brand called Siggi's, which is Icelandic-style skyr yogurt and super delicious. I can only buy it at Whole Foods but it's not expensive and totally worth the special trip.
Dannon's new Evolution yogurts are good too and I can't remember the brand but I ate one recently that had fruit and chia seeds in it. It was delicious! Now I'm hungry for some yummy yogurt!
