oh?

I've been in exam hell for the past 4 weeks. One of my girlfriends called me up because she wanted to do some painting, we both haven't painted in years.

that sounds like a lovely diversion

I don't have time to paint so I said I'd take a break and do some writing instead. I came over, then walked her dog for an hour and now its almost 12 hours later

and somehow we're binging an anime, have another girl over, and I have a face mask on. We talked about boys, I did some very minor writing and it's just like our old high school days.

Aaaa the nostalgia.

I even played some video game today (Warframe). I'm really liking that too.

Been working on some original writing, but I think I'll pull a party night and maybe work some fan fiction. Oh gosh, it's like I'm a kid again!!

and I used to play Warframe ages ago. I stopped right after the introduced the flight-packs

(Watching Death Note and my favourite characters are all dying (I knew this happens because I was reading the manga when it was coming out) but still ouch!)

Rem, and the first dead detective, and his finance aaaa, what good characters! It isn't fair.

Jinkuro: I've only just started playing so its still new and exciting. I like that its like co-op mass effect and free. Ive wanted dot play for a while because I like the aesthetic of the armour.

Jinkuro: what did you find were all the negatives of the game? (I really don't mind getting turned off from it, since I'm a bit worried about time sinks like that hahah)

honestly, what turned me off ultimately WAS that it was a time sink

at the point I left, all I was doing was just acquiring new weapons and armor and leveling them up ad nauseum

I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the aesthetic of the warframes themselves, and the weapons are all cool, but the focus of the clan I was in was shifting, and I wasn't having fun anymore

plus, well, the RNG in Warframe is not stacked in your favor, ever. I used platinum to get most of my gear because I'd heard plenty of stories of people grinding end-game content for six+ hours

just to get one weapon or armor part

THAT SAID, it is very enjoyable to start off, and collecting and mastering the various armors is very rewarding in and of itself

also fun fact: the ladies tend to be the most destructive armors. Nova and Saryn are monsters

also just for myself, but this is the first time I've ever worn a face mask, and this is just like my face is getting a hug!
