Do thrift stores sell handmade clothing that gets donated? Or will they just trash it if there's not a sizing label and stuff?

I would think they would sell it as long as it's in good condition. Items don't always have sizes when I've been to those stores.

I'm KonMari-ing my clothes, and there's a lot of stuff I just never ended up wearing, especially in colors that just aren't me, or fabrics I'm not fond of, or stuff that's just kinda random.

The whole KonMari clothing angle gets so much more complicated when you've sewn 90% of your clothing.

To my knowledge, its the condition not the labels - but then I usually deal with vincent depaul society. But, you could try asking them?

Okay, I have instructed Kris to ask about it when he drops off the current batch of stuff in the foyer. Not sure what I'll do if they do just toss stuff without label-y info..

Unless a little written tag with content/approximate size/care info might help.. then I can just make up little taggy thingies.

Locally, we see plenty of ethnic and handmade clothing for sale. All about condition.

It's less about value and more about whether somebody could get some use out of it. I'm bugged by the idea of decent stuff I've made that just isn't me being trashed..

But at the same time, that's not a decent reason to just let it sit there, take up space, and just be clutter.
