Never again am I making holiday dinner on the same day as holiday dessert. Unless perhaps the holiday dessert is for breakfast.

It seems that the pumpkin pie is going to be tomorrow's breakfast. (LOL) And oh how much easier it would have been if I'd realized that earlier!

I think I'm gonna have to start doing the crustless pie thing. Mine was utterly abysmal. Kris liked it, but he also didn't see a difference between totally from-scratch stuffing and stovetop.

And I mean literally from scratch.. It's been a loooooong time since I bought bread.

I used to bake bread, but its been a very long time now. Maybe when we're back to 3 people in the house I might try again.

$50 sunbeam bread machine. Been using it at least 3-4 times a week for about a year and a half. I'm sure there are better machines, but mine works quite well, certainly better than doing it by hand.

And I do a whole crazy high-protein high-fiber thing with my bread.

I had a bread machine and I don't even remember what brand, but they are so nice for bread - used to make craisin bread.
