[inside out] i think this is the first time that pixar made me dislike a main character lol, the way joy dismissed sadness like that. though i guess it's an allegory about how we confuse sadness with depression

[霸王別姬] 一個有歷史有文化的正統派耽美BL片, 描述女人怎麼破壞一個本來只有男人的美好世界. 張國榮好適合演這種哀怨的小受角色噢, 可是, 天呀, 這時期的中國片怎麼都這麼慘 orz

[birdman] since i needed something to cleanse my brain of the depressingness of 霸王別姬, i searched for a comedy and i've heard birdman won the oscars before...THIS IS NOT A COMEDY.

the plotlines go all over the place and don't connect with each other in the end, but the choreography is pretty interesting. not as depressing as the above, but still quite heavy

[kingsman] now this is a mindless oldschool-ish ridiculous british spy film i can get behind and lift the mood somewhat

[imitation game] for the sake of narrative it had to jump back and forth in time. for people who didn't know who turing was, this can be quite confusing eh. it's alright as a biographical film with added drama

plus, it's not 隱形 in that film at all, Farewell My Concubine is totally a gay film (i lol at the posters that deceptively put 鞏俐 there in a prominent position hinting that she's the "concubine")
