The spec script's info file says it's about a married couple that was in a car accident, and when they woke up they were in a bunker with a dude who said there was Something Happening outside.

That does seem to fit the trailer, though the trailer seems to have added some stuff.

That's probably what they're gonna do. I hope at least we'll get to see some more of the monster.

And hopefully some more connections to the first film.

I also want to know how long John Goodman's character has been down in that bunker. Like, how long ago did the attack on NY happen? Is the story in NY?
