That's ok, my boyfriend doesn't really say any of those meaningful things either. All he ever "compliments" on are my boobs. 
Sigh mine does the same same.
Occasionally I get a "baby you're fucking incredible." But usually ... it's about my nice tits and ass. Is that all I am?

he probably thinks that's a great compliment. Have you ever told him that you like getting compliments on your non-physical attributes as well?

It's not deliberate, I think. Men are societally conditioned to think of women as a body holdin some boobs and a butt together.
Not to say it isn't frustrating. It just takes a lot of work to change their habits.
