Have you tried lightly scraping off extra product at the rim of the tube then applying the mascara in a careful zigzaggy motion from the roots upward to the tip?

It'll take a few coats to get to the right length

i have.. maybe im not scraping off enough. im just a bit annoyed because it was $22. i had such high hopes. but ive also never had a feathering one before. the brush is weird.

i do also have a bad habit of blinking to apply

If it's clumping, go over the lashes with a dry mascara wand that has no product; it helps to even it out and get rid of the clumps.

ooh okay. can you just buy those in stores? ive never seen them

you can get disposable wands in most beauty stores. people with eye-problems tend to use disposable wands instead of actual tube wands to prevent contamination.

ooh okay. maybe ill see if sephora has some. im pretty sure they have some for testing
