All units are free until you've beaten chapter 10, for all purposes.

Every player gets Corrin/Jakob/Felicia/Azura/Gunter.

Children come with their father except for Kana/Shigure/Dwyer which must be drafted.

But when I saw for all purposes, for example:

I've drafted Arthur, and therefore Percy.

I intend to support grind Mozu/Arthur before chapter 10 to get Mozu!Percy.

I've also drafted Dwyer, and might do the same with Elise/Jakob.

Feel free to mute this if you don't care, as I'm going to use it as a planning plurk for the draft.

I wound up with Effie, Arthur, Laslow, Dwyer, and Kana. This means I also get Percy and Soleil (<3), and add Corrin, Jakob, Felicia, Azura, and Gunter to that.

12 characters is a pretty good number. Obviously Gunter is hyper late, which is unfortunate, but alas.

Probably going to make Mozu!Percy and Elise!Dwyer and just pair their fathers up with them.

Otherwise no real use for the early game characters that aren't mine to keep besides the necessary use of Camilla et al on 10 itself.

Though physical Dwyer is an option and then just using magic weapons for, well, magic damage.

Ninja Corrin has served me well so far, so might be worth to use that again?

Especially with Jakob as her partner.

Also worth considering: Only female characters I have that I can pair with Soleil are her mother (Corrin, Azura, Effie, Felicia all being options) or F!Kana.

Oh Kana!F being her mother.

So always her mother.

Actually, I like that idea a lot, even if it means I have to get Dwyer really late (by taking male Corrin.)

Go Mozu!Kana and Mozu!Kana!Soleil for aptitude Soleil.

And so pairings from that are Corrin/Gunter, Soleil/Kana.

Probably still pair up Laslow with Effie for the sake of guard stance.

Effie/Laslow, maybe still Arthur/Percy? Probably with Effie!Percy.

So Corrin/Gunter, Soleil/Kana, Effie/Lawlow, Percy/Arthur.

Leaves... Azura, Dwyer, Felicia, Jakob.

Which probably means Azura!Dwyer that goes physical, and pairings of Dwyer/Azura and Felicia/Jakob.

With Felicia and Corrin being primary sources of magic damage with Fire Shurike and Levin Sword, respectively.

I don't know how Corrin passes traits to their kid, let alone how Kana does to theirs.

But I assume a physical Corrin will make a physical Kana will make a kickass Soleil.

Okay I'm a dumb and that sucks.

The parent-child support for Kana F and Soleil is with Soleil as Kana's mother.

Which makes it still an option, but changes around the order of the supports, I guess?

So in that case it would be Effie!Soleil

And then probably Mozu!Arthur.

So not terribly changed around.

Corrin/Gunter, Soleil/Kana, Effie/Lawlow, Percy/Arthur, Dwyer/Azura, Felicia/Jakob.

With Effie!Soleil, Soleil!Kana, Mozu!Percy, and Azura!Dwyer.

Alright, so, classes.

Starting with the obvious ones that are staying basically as-is; Effie will remain General, maybe with a deep dip into GK for Luna (which is also probably better than Def+2 to pass to Soleil, though she can-

pick that up herself.)

Arthur will go Berserker to give optimum back line smashage for Percy.

Gunter will stay GK when I get him, Soleil will end up Great Lord probably because I'm going to use my dlc even if this is a draft.

Yeah, definitely Great Lord Soleil with Luna/Aether/Sol.

Percy will go Wyvern Lord, Dwyer will go into cavalier/Paladin or maybe Sky Knight?

Actually I like that a lot.

Yeah, Falcon knight Dwyer sounds hella.

Azura will stay dancer...

Kana will probably stay Norh Noble.

But could be a variety of things whatever best supports her mom.

So, to refresh for my own sake: Corrin/GK!Gunter, GL!Effie!Soleil/Hero!Soleil!Kana, G!Effie/BK!Laslow, Mozu!WL!Percy/B!Arthur, FK!Azura!Dwyer/S!Azura, and M!Felicia/S!Jakob

I only just realized that in this game s supports can be more potent than A supports, which sucks.

But I think I'm going to stick with this setup anyway.

The only other option would be to make Corrin or Soleil a back line unit, s'yeah.

Though actually...

While leaving them in tact, I could go Effie!Percy instead of Mozu!Percy.

And then Azura!Soleil, and Felicia!Dwyer.

With Effie/Arthur, Percy/Dwyer, and Azura/Laslow.

Actually yeah, I kind of like that.

So Corrin/GK!Gunter, GL!Azura!Soleil/Hero!Soleil!Kana, G!Effie/B!Arthur, Effie!WL!Percy/GK!Felicia!Dwyer, MN!Laslow/S!Azura, and M!Felicia/S!Jakob.

That gives me pair ups with a supports in Corrin/Gunter and Soleil/Kana, and s/a+ in the other cases.
