KaelynAlecto: AGES ago they would give us guidelines to use (theme, no background, resolution/dimensions)...sometimes we were notified if chosen but sometimes not. I don't believe they've ever paid anyone.

I only know of paid contests for themed events - usually with some small linden amount. Would be cool if they reimbursed more for effort. It's not like it REALLY costs them to give lindens!
