While 'Gotham' is turning out to be one of my favourite shows (no idea how far we are behind the US), I honestly find zero desire to be interested in the new film. No idea why.
I guess Affleck being in it isn't exactly helping, but then, I've yet to see any live-action actor portray Batman in a way which I've liked.

but I'm not at all interested in Batman v Superman either. Gotham at least has this interesting tone of darkness mixed with a level of campiness
whereas I hear from the critics I tend to trust that BvS is a dour slog
gotham is slowly losing it's footing in that balance, but I hope they get it back.
Affleck is like Jack Black for me, in so far as I have an irrational vendetta against him (which even I do not logically understand).

I enjoy the performances of the 'Gotham' villain actors! It was refreshing to hear they hired unknowns on purpose.
