Apparently, some media outlet referred to Hawaii as a white state.

And by 'some media outlet,' I mean CNN.

Fun fact: Hawaii is the least white state in the US.

Alaska too, even though they are also pretty unwhite.

Well, while it's still one of the most diverse states, iirc Hawaii is the only state where whites aren't in the majority.

So while I still wouldn't necessarily agree with calling it a white state-considering I feel that term should be a relative one-you could make the argument for it.
