I'm participating in Camp Nanowrimo for this April. I'm really excited, at first I was going to work on NAL. but then this other story came up and demanded my attention.
I'm pretty excited about it. It's totally out of left field and I have minimal self consciousness with it. I'm just really really hoping to finish a piece! I haven't actually finished a fictional piece since...
high school, so I think doing so and having a completed piece I could share would really give me a boost and help with NAL too. Also working on NAL for Nano has the down side that even with 50,000 words...
I set the word limit to 25,000 (not having the best of confidence) but also trying to be realistic. If I manage to make it to 25K before the month is out, I'll switch to NAL I think.
A slight tangent I did a tentative word count for NAL, my magnum opus so far, and it's 65,290 pages long at about a third to a fourth of the way in! Geez I didn't think I was writing War and Peace over here!
