But because I still think the overpowered abilities (the one's relayed to summons...quickenings I think?) are dumb and op I'm doing the 'enforced class challenge' from gamefaqs, with random classes.
For anybody that's curious.
A couple of notes, though; some classes are particularly underpowered, so they get automatic rerolls. Also zero class overlap. I am rolling for them in order (of recruitment, no less,) so I'll roll 6 numbe-
rs and assign them, in order, to Vaan/Penelo/Balthier/Fran/Basch/Ashe.
Also, I must have one character capable of wearing heavy armor, and one character capable of doing some amount of healing.
And then I got distracted by DFO! But in case anyone is paying attention, I ended up with Ninja Vaan, Summoner Penelo, Chemist Balthier, Paladin Fran, Blue Mage Basch, and Archer Ashe.
Finally starting the file. The portion of the early game where I only have Vaan and Penelo won't be great because Penelo can't do anything, but the eventual late game of Fran/Vaan with a rotating and versa-
tile third member will be nice.
As Summoner/Chemist/Blue Mage/Archer can do basically everything.
Actually, I'm rerolling Penelo, as I've decided I need somebody that can actually do some sort of offensive magic before I get my first summon.
(And because she's the only one I haven't assigned LP to.)
