There we go. And in case plurk paste goes down again...
It didn't specifically come from me, but there's this great thing that someone pointed out once about Asriel's death and being brought back to life as Flowey.
So he and Chara went to the surface, Asriel specifically resisted killing humans. It got the two of them killed, and it was an act of mercy that he died for.
When he wakes up again in the future, guess what he finds out his father has done?
Killed humans specifically in his name.
I can understand why he did it, because with a kingdom in mourning you have to do SOMETHING. You have to respond somehow. But his response was driven by anger and grief.
There's also another great observation where I think the very moment that Flowey kills Asgore, it's the moment that he's offering to be ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY with the main character.
So, in addition to all the timelines he spent being ground down into an apathetic sociopath who shifts the blame on other people, I guess I sort attribute that as loose reasons why he did the deed?
With Flowey, he doesn't have a lot of scenes, so tecnically ... a TON of what I do in RP is .. pretty much Headcanon lol.
Post Pacifist Flowey. That is one hard character to interpret. Because you're dealing with a lot of factors. Including dealing with the fact that once Frisk goes away, he basically becomes sociopath flower
Nothing has changed for him aside from the fact that he got the beat down of a lifetime. Twice.
No SOUL, no family, nothing but the memories of his timelines and his time with Frisk.
So I guess when I frame my Flowey around the final conversation he had with Frisk. He has memories of everyone inside him and how they felt for Frisk, his new perspective on
kill or be killed --> don't kill, dont BE killed, and a well wishing for his family.
So ... while he doesn't explicitly feel emotions, or deals with consequence, he still uses his memories during his time with SOULs to keep himself in check.
In fact, he specifically hasn't killed anyone in FC because of the 'Don't Kill, dont be killed' deal with Frisk.
(And the closest he came was because he figured he was going to reset. He didn't even fully complete the kill either. )
There's my headcanonnish things?
