I always have done eyeliner then eyeshadow, because the eyeliner that I usually use is a felt tip pen and I find that the eyeshadow "dust" will clog it up.

But a lot of videos I've seen recently have people putting eyeliner on after eyeshadow. Am I breaking some sort of code?

I do eyeliner after eyeshadow otherwise the dust goes over and ruins it. But I use pencil for my eyeliner

BUT, you can do lashes BEFORE eyeliner too (because the lash curler could ruin your eyeliner)

If your eyeliner tip clogs with eyeshadow, you're not using a good one. Recommend going with a better product, that should clear up the problem.

Whatever my mood is, but if I do wear eyeshadow, it's light stuff to keep my eyeliner from smearing bc I use the cheapest stuff from Walgreens

Lol I use an eyeliner from urban decay It's so easy to use and it has a great end product; maybe I'm just using it wrong if it clogs?

Also I put my eyeliner on before my mascara because I find it difficult to get close to my eyelash line without ruining the mascara application XD I'm a mess aren't I? Hahaha
