We saw an itty bitty efficiency first, one I wasn't really fond of second, and then... an enormous efficiency with a full kitchen for the same price as the first little one...

It has a really high ceiling and large windows and it's very bright and open and the bathroom is big, the fridge is brand new, the stove is pretty nice, the microwave is ancient but I can replace that no prob

the plumbing is really nice... did I mention it's bright and open...

AND

There's a huge convenience store located in the basement.

Which is the weirdest thing I've ever heard of but if the nice apartment didn't sell me right away, that was the nail in the coffin.

The place is super nice and has good hours and I don't even have to leave my building to get to it..........

The only downside to the place I got is it's pretty much tucked into frat house central, but like I sleep with headphones on anyway so I never put noise on my list of concerns in the first place.

And I guess it has carpet when I was looking for hardwood but that was inconsequential on my list too.

Everything else was perfect.

There's so much wall space for prints. :')

though I'd need a ladder to get it all covered...

maybe maintenance would have one I could borrow for the first round of print wallpapering. I could put my framed ones near the top so they'd never pop off...

but I'm gonna start framing these. no matter how expensive...
