it's an awful kind of vindictive joy when a bad coworker gets fired...
there was this awful dude that worked at the library when i worked there and when my sis told me he got fired, i celebrated for a few days
And it is.. Especially when it's for a really stupid reason
omg what was the reason
i arrive for the juicy deets
also congrats on your liberation and discounts
ah, the reason was incredibly mundane but stupid, got caught smoking during his shift after being warned about it repeatedly.
but he was also... incredibly tactless, made lots of sexist/inappropriate comments/jokes, repeated them when no one laughed because he thought no one heard him, not that we were all unamused and uncomfortable
also had been there for longer than most people and just wasn't... very good at his job, forgot a lot of things, did things incorrectly and then attempted to train newer people despite not knowing... how
got super defensive whenever anyone attempted to correct him, got passive aggressive whenever you asked him to do more than two things in a row because wow why are you giving him all the grunt work??
despite the fact he was usually the one not doing work when the rest of us were moving
ugh. congrats on your freedom
like one of our bikers that I'm pretty sure is missing the Human Emotions chip in his robot brain whooped when he heard this guy was gone.
free at last.
holy shit this guy sounds
that's a nice feeling when that leaves
that's cute though, cute robot biker
and yeah, robot biker! he's a lovely hard-working person, he just has chronic resting bitch face and his voice never shifts in tone... except to give one of our managers sass once and a while
this was the first time I've seen Genuine Excitement out of him
awww i love that kind of person
even if they terrify me because i need to be able to make people laugh or i die
fdskd yeah, same. I love them in theory but I'm the worst with them in practice...
the bad co-worker that i worked with got fired because he got drunk with one of the homeless fellas that we played movies for, disappeared from his post at the media desk when he was the only one working it --
and left the gate open all night, so that someone could've snuck in and stole thousands of dollars of dvs
no one did, thank god, but when my sister told me that story i was like... yeah... sounds like something he'd do... he was a terrible employee at the easiest job in the world
i hated him ever since we worked together one weekend and he disappeared for over an hour collective time without clocking out... i was livid
anyways i am glad that your gross co-worker is gone too nod nod

jesus
why are people the way that they are...
i don't know... it always baffles me when i find people who mess up at super easy and straight-forward jobs...
