2 lol etiquette actually he's pretty decent at getting doors and holding the elevator for most people (read: girls)... and his handshakes are very strong! except for the most delicate of ladyfolk.

lbr the biggest divide in his mannerisms is by gender...

he's also pretty good with/reciprocating of friendly contact like hugs or shoulder punches or nudges or whatever, he's a physical person. unless it's someone he really doesn't like then ew

his language and demeanor definitely doesn't change by stranger/friend or equal/elder, unless the person he's talking to really demands respect and Earns It, then he can be v respectful

He's definitely one of those people that stands up straighter and squares his shoulders when he's talking to people he doesn't like though

10 Not really? he's pretty heart-on-his-sleeve so there's not much that he hides from the world... I guess he can be more subdued when he's alone, but that's normal bc there's... no one to talk to

but you know what I mean right, it's not like the enthusiasm is a mask for anything, he just gets more animated when there's other people present

3 I think people would tend to get out of his way on principle, he's a big dude. but in the event that they don't and he has to get from one end of a crowded room to the other he'll make people move.

5 for the most part, when things get tense, he's running his hand through his hair or rubbing his face (the... left side of his face apparently, deadeyes canon)

6 He is absolutely a whooper. when he's excited he gets SUPER EXCITED. whooping, air-punching, high-fiving, victory dancing. "I just solved the SHIT out of that puzzle!" is a genuine quote of his ok

likewise he doesn't like. shake with anger or anything, but it's real obvious when he's real angry. teeth grit, fists clenched, probably looks about ready to throw punches at any moment

as for surprise, he's actually sort of jumpy. like if he's snuck up on or something he doesn't know is there makes a sudden noise, he'll probably also make a sudden noise.

pretty much the only thing that doesn't have an amped up reaction is like, genuine sadness or dread. he gets really quiet when he's morose or super stressed or helpless.

not in like a conceal don't feel kind of way, it's usually just a loss for words.

there are whole bits of game where most of his dialogue is just "... ..."

7 is it weird to say like, from the shoulders up is probably most expressive? like he's got a colorful range of expression and his eyebrows are pretty impressive...

I'll just do 4 first because I kind of half did it, maybe it's just because he was in a puzzle game but he's usually described pointing at things to acknowledge them, occasionally nodding at them.

11 distraction is a big tactic of his to keep him determined as opposed to mopey, even if whatever he's doing is just banging his head against a wall or beating a dead horse

focusing on things or other people as opposed to himself.

his comfort zone is definitely around other people, friends or strangers. either someone to really connect with or just mindless casual friendliness.

in canon it's when he's left alone to introspect that he gets the most miserable but while that's definitely due to the atmosphere of the game, I don't think being alone helps his mood if it's already down

his comfort food is absolutely crappy take-out in all its forms

12 he doesn't suppress a lot of emotion because that'd be a lot of emotion to suppress... so it involves lots of fist-clenching and jaw-setting and glaring if it's negative. it's the opposite of subtle

but if it's positive emotion he needs to bite back because it's inappropriate or something, it's probably dumb grins and biting the inside of his cheek
