it's nice when i get to let him let go
he...really misses rebecca. and even desmond
and bishop for that matter
you're just relieved he's not there
no, I have a theory, shaun's probably the closest to bill as anyone can get but
he knows how difficult the guy is
its probably kind of like...haytham and shay
also the unintentional Arno hiatus
I've been just casually throwing him at stuff with a friend
and it's getting me ready to maybe post dead kings him at some point
I'm starting to see where the changes come without the angst overbalancing
that was my worry about a canon point for playing him later from
there's that point when all the bad things just CONVERGE
but I feel like maybe with a reread of the diary bits of the novel
and maybe watching a dead kings playthrough again
that i could make it work
there's gotta be that point where he stops and realizes drinking his life away isn't what's helping
what's also helped is sandbox stuff with arno
it's, you know, the mains
and they're all weird people
it's like he's letting himself be part of a family
which...yeah. He didn't quite have that with Paris
someday i'd like to do an AC style journal game
like i'd set up factions and recovered historical events from the points of view of central people in a world's history
but they'd have to be more balanced
i don't want out and out good and evil conflict necessarily
but yeah it's one of those things i consider
i'd want it to focus on characters building teams
maybe kept smaller, character cap maybe
assassins creed style might even be better for like tabletop
but i can't organize table top
...it's funny. I taught for three years and did lesson plans and directed classes
