The ones that are the worst are the ones who are absolutely hypocritical about it and demand absolution for their own faults or problems and then turn those faults in others into something to use to attack.

And I like what he says about theater being like military in terms of knowing your roles, working together toward a common goal, etc.

It's very true and I think peeps often have a glorified vision of it. Like the military at times.
