I feel the same... but then I feel like a hypocrite because my parents let me do the same with games and movies

yeah, I was... playing tomb raider when I was just a little older than that...

but....... ...

I feel like games have gotten more intense since we were toddlers

boy howdy... i remember my gamestop days

i assure you the worst is when

a neglectful father buys grand theft auto for his 8-year-old and you try to talk him out of it bc of the ESRB raiting and he's like "oh well he'll play it somewhere eventually" bullshit

and then the NEXT DAY the mother STORMS IN, screams at you for letting the purchase happen, and demands a full refund (for a new game that has already been opened, so it can't be refunded as new)

this is a situation which occurred more than once for me
