I don't see the point in it anyway because everyone is arguing and no one is listening but apparently the mods are fine with it. so...

SPOILERS telling people that they're literally thieves and bad bad people for using an image off of Google doesn't start off a good conversation. who knew?

It is, and hardly anyone is doubting that in the thread (from what I read because BOY IS IT LONG)

The problem lies with the camps of people who are used to using faceclaims and see no harm, and people who actually have to make commissions to make money

and everyone is so salty and even after the mods tried to direct conversation to something more productive, people still attacked one another

I even posted to point it out and a mod got snooty with me. I didn't think the topic was doing anything but letting people dump on one another and they told me "no you're wrong. It's fine."

Oh well. :|

Yeah I suppose. I don't know what the mods are thinking and well...I've only ever been a mod briefly so I can't really speak from experience
