and I have friends in Orlando. In fact, the only way I know about it (I'm bad at keeping up with news) is a notification from Facebook telling me an old friend was safe

...I have another friend who isn't marked yet.

But not 10 minutes pass after that and I get another notification. A friend posted an Onion article.

In hindsight I've realized that most of my friends weren't exactly in...errr. danger.

As far as I know. heck if I keep track of which way they swing, if at all.

God its fucked how blasé I'm reacting to an actual shooting but what else can I do? ??

literally the only purpose I have for FB is "friends that have no other social media presence". Although even then I want to delete it.

But I can't do it because my family would ask questions and I can't really escape them on there. :|

I just ignore it now unless one of the aforementioned friends posts.
