So they tested the sprinkler system in our building and apparently something went horribly wrong which resulted in the fire alarm blipping every 5 minutes from 9am to 1pm. I'd gone to bed at 7am. 
I'm pretty sure this is a form of torture in most countries.
and now it's time for work.

It's not high pitched, but it alternates between an alarm and a voice that creeps me the hell out and the speaker in my room is right over my head to boot
