Sigma is an esper! Which my phone tried to autocorrect to rapper

he does know a good amount of nicki minaj but that's beside the point

What he can do is gather information from himself in different timelines, and throw his entire consciousness from timeline to timeline

And he absolutely can't control it

So that results in (usually relevant) "visions" of a sort and just knowing things he definitely shouldn't, kind of at random

which is hard to wrangle in a game setting but I was actually planning on making a post about it soon...

Because both he and I would like to start actually using it

Another feature of the timeline hopping power is that as far as I'm aware, he can't... really die of unnatural causes

Like he can die in the timeline he's in, but his consciousness has always jumped ship to another before it got snuffed

Because something that triggers his power is life or death situations

So he's died....... a lot.... But he's still around to tell the tale

holy hell that would be endlessly traumatic

I could give you a laundry list of deaths, my friend

So what happens to what's left behind? If he leaves a split-second before he dies in a timeline, is the remaining Sig-body just a mindless shell, or is it more like he duplicates?

It's never really addressed directly, but one of the plot points is him switching places with his future self, so

I'm pretty sure some other Sigma is just always getting screwed when he jumps to avoid death.....

But yeah he's died like... I've lost track, at least nine times on screen and it's implied plenty more

and he's still pretty alright.
