[Photoshop] QUESTION! How do I draw out linework on paper, scan it to the computer, then make the white areas transparent?
latest #8
I'm trying to make a logo and when I tried to use the magic wand to highlight all the white areas to erase it, it left behind a little white edge on the black line work that really looks horrible when small

usually i just make a transparent layer called 'lineart' and redraw on that, then you have a clean page with just your drawing on it

like trace it onto the invisible layer

see i've done that before and that's usually why i do super sketchy line art on paper then fix it up in photoshop
but this time i made my line work perfect on paper to try and bypass that step
i think i found a way on google here, seeing if it will actually work
i also used to throw it in illustrator and make it basically a vector image then put it back in photoshop but i don't remember how to do that because i'm realizing i've been out of college for too long lol
How To Remove The Background From a Drawing or Lineart Apparently this works! Hopefully this will save me a shit ton of time
