This is. Actually pretty hard to pick. I've really liked most of them.
As far as Hitsugaya is concerned, a favourite for him is easy: his first, the (eventually) cursed gryphon knight in Dolorosa.
That was my first Jaunt ever and I dove right in and had an absolute blast.
He was a fun character and I super enjoyed modeling his gryphon's behaviour on Matsumoto.
I almost took the gryphon as a skill just to keep her. She was hilarious.
Also, the irony of him fighting dragons.
For Near, it's kind of a tie between NEAR (Digital Frontier), or Liam/Indigo (The Missing Dragon).
These two really had the most significant impact on him.
And the first was super funny because he was actually a fighter. With amazing aim. That never ceases to amuse me.
But also super tragic because there was only one person that NEAR cared about . . . and he had to kill her.
And then when the Jaunt was over, there was emotional bleedover and he still gave a crap about Mai which is one of my favourite things because he was so bothered by giving a crap.
And didn't know what the hell he was doing with that.
As for Liam/Indigo . . . I just got a thing about magic users, really.
And the whole storyline of him becoming Indigo and then being part of a plot to try and take down the Trumps (even though he thought it was a bad idea to move so soon) was super fun.
Of course, I also really enjoyed his Harrogate overlay, "Nolan Pond". The weird creepy stagehand who wound up getting driven insane by eldritch magic. Whoops.
It was fun playing up the creepy.
"Nicholas" the Hecatite was super adorable. Sweet guy, actual social skills, still super smart. Determined to help save his friend from despair.
And I'm sad I never did much with his Lightning Age overlay. Vatican spy stuff. I had a bad few RP weeks at that time, unfortunately.
He's going to be a superhero next week, Rae.
Civilian identity as a brilliant but lazy college student.
But he's diligent at the hero stuff.
(I mean, he doesn't have to kill himself to get great grades. This is canon, really.)
What's even funnier is that it's superheroes . . . in England.
I still need to figure out his superhero name. And whether I'm going to use his actual real name for his Infiltrator self or not. Because I might.
Or I might use the name I used in StE, even.
Though I don't think any of them knew his last name. The only one of the StE crew that met him was Hajime.
Still. Having this Infiltration being called Nathan Brooks is appealing. (I just like the name, honestly.)
