Good luck!! You got this. <3
It should be fine. The recruiter gal I've been talking with made them sound so friendly. "They just want to chat for a bit!"
It's the Distinguished Programs people.
Aaaaaaaany minute now...
It's Albert and Rhana.
They seemed fun.
I think it went pretty well.
So... I guess I get to wait to hear back...
I hope so! The sooner I hear back yay or nay the sooner I can turn in my notice to WRA
But seriously, any place where D&D comes up in an interview from the interviewers' side is a place I belong.
Look, they asked about a time I had to work in a group and do teamwork. So, I mentioned that I ran a game for over three years.
See, RP is a useful job skill
And then Albert mentioned playing D&D
IKR? My people, I have found them
And so I tell you, friends. Even if your job history is lacking, if you have been roleplaying for any stretch of time, YOU HAVE USEFUL EMPLOYABLE SKILLS.
Skills in teamwork, in problem solving, leadership, creative thinking, empathy, communication, all kinds of things.
...and if I get this job, it'll seriously be, like, the fifth one where telling RP stories helped me land it.
DMing, modding and running a forum are all applicable skills.
As is running a guild apparently.
It's amazing what modern day hobbies actually count towards team- building efforts.
it is. I hope you do get this job. It sounds like it is a much better fit for you
My luck was good! I got it!
