He improved a lot but I got a call from my vet

because the vet yesterday wasn't the usual vet, it was a substitute since my vet was in the surgery room

she gave me a diet for Daruma

and he refused to eat today because he didn't want that diet

apparently, my vet saw the file today and she called me immediately to change the diet to something more likeable to him

because the priority was for him to eat and drink and be in a cold room

while taking his meds

so we got him veggies that he liked but didn't have high fermentation issues or too much water or sugar

and hay with strong grass smell and additional high fiber pellets

and he started eating and drinking normally all of a sudden

he seems to be in a better mood and he adores his new cage even tho he roams free around the house, but he loves having a huge 2-story place for himself to have privacy

So he is getting better fast, which makes me happy

danybel: Yes, me too. Honestly this morning I was so worried of him not eating but thank God my usual vet called me to change the diet her substitute gave me and get tastier pellets high in fiber.

And now he's eating and going to the litterbox properly, and he gained mobility again.

galax: Yeah, in fact, I just woke up and he was jumping happily again and giving me his red plate (I made a color code of plates so he learns how to tell me what he wants to eat) demanding breakfast 'n cuddles

and I almost cried because I was in such fear two days ago and he was so sick that he couldn't move and now he's back to his usual lovely but bratty self.
