I bought a 3L tin of olive oil a few days ago for making bread that I plan on trying to sell
Today I decide to do a final check of my recipe so I can confirm my materials costs
Turns out that my housemate's girlfriend packed it for their weekend trip to a cottage
Something tells me that she's what's happened to other baking supplies that have gone missing
It's probably a good thing that I had to go through her boyfriend to find this out because I might have texted unhelpful things
Yes she's Columbian, yes there's still a language barrier despite her excellent English
but I have no idea what to do with her
there are obviously communication issues going on at all levels
and I only have so much patience
it's obvious she very much feels like she has control of the house and can organize things however she wants
which she can't, because one of the people living here is blind and therefor needs to be consulted before reorganizing kitchen cupboards and such
otherwise he can't find anything
Sticky notes. Sticky note things she isn't allowed to take or use.
that's probably what's going to have to happen at this point
and that frustrates me because this otherwise isn't the kind of house where things vanish if you don't put your name on them
at least I know that I'm not the only one in the house who's confused/frustrated by her
and knowing that it's not just me is a relief considering my normal track record with understanding people
doesn't stop me from being frustrated
and I'm not looking forward to when she comes back and I have to try and explain to her what stuff she can't touch or wander off with
