IT'S SO FUCKING BAD AND I COULD COMPLAIN ENDLESSLY FOR HOURS

Me and my friends literally wrote a 6-page review of it, where the only positive point is that it's very visually pleasing.

The game is shallow, the storyline is shallow, the characters are shallow, there's no linear connection of A to B or anything else.

The puzzles literally hardly offer ANY hints whatsoever, and are largely up to fucking luck -- e.g. there's a choice of three doors, labelled with three different letters, and the only hint you get is

"cow's tail". And the answer turned out to be *F*.

Because it's "BEEF".

Like, holy shit. Holy fucking shit.

You will go through ENTIRE SEQUENCES and WHOLE AREAS with not a single goddamn save point, and the game is dialogue-heavy as HELL.

Most of which, doesn't actually even matter to the plot whatsoever.

And the best part of it is that when asked about the plot of Pocket Mirror, the devs literally said IT'S UP TO INTERPRETATION.

Not a PART of the plot, or a specific aspect -- THE WHOLE GAME is up to player interpretation.

Plus, there's an available secret but only if you get a certain amount of Charms throughout the game -- and it's literally actually impossible to unlock all of them in one playthrough.

I just... oh my god, I'm pretty lenient when it comes to games and stuff, but this is terrible. Just. Terrible.

And it demonizes mental illness while at it, because the character is diagnosed with "schizophrenia, dissociation, and lunacy".

Because mentally ill characters have to be CRAZY (even then, she shows hardly any symptoms of schizophrenia/dissociation, and her apparent DID is poorly, very very poorly represented)

This game is so upsetting. It also has a metric TON of bugs everywhere, like glitching/characters talking when they're not even there, the game crashing if you can't load the videos which is the ONLY way

for story to progress in the damn thing, and there's no excuse because the game was in development for THREE YEARS and even had beta testers.

My god this game is just so upsetting OWIGNNEGNERGN
