(We had a room that had all the old, dusty, very badly taken care of books that no one had had time to deal with yet, and it kept setting off the fire alarm. Something about the dust in the air)

If 911 is called, sometimes they send out the fire department even on medical.

Yeah. I think response times also factor into that, because being downtown, the nearest fire station is a lot closer than the nearest hospital.
