The pendant will come in handy for two reasons. It will also allow Senri to retain memories relating to Roxas. Because he honestly forgets people without a physical reminder. He is an actual mess and I'm sorry.

And the obedience is likely to extend to any of Roxas other shinki. Unless they disagree with Roxas which makes them wrong.

Can he teach that kind of obedience to the actual bear they've got? Because that'd be great.

Maybe. It would mostly involve him calling on his anima and swatting the bear on the nose every time it did something Roxas didn't like.
