We're currently watching 27 undecided PA voters talk about their thoughts and feelings on the debate; I hope we'll revisit them post debate.
The room feels slightly Trump-favored but overwhelmingly view both candidates as evil-not a one has said they're still deciding between two solid candidates.
(Then again, I'm not sure what election would have had very many undecideds at this point saying that they were deciding between two good choices. Maybe 2000? I'm not sure what public perception of Bush-Gore-
I'm gonna watch out of morbid curiosity.
Yeah I can't imagine that I'm possibly going to change my support from Clinton based on the debate, but it's one of the biggest debates in presidential history (at least from this side of the debate.)
Of course, a lot of that is media build.

I don't get a choice, I'm just stuck with whomever you guys choose
I can comfort myself with our optimistic adorable PM so.
If Trump wins he can stay right down there kthnx.
Yeah. I don't think a Trump presidency would cause me much problems directly, but the country as a whole would be going to hell.
Not getting the relief on college debt/costs that Hillary would at least attempt to offer would hurt, but over all turns out being a cishet white dude means that at a glance I'm Trump's kind of person.
"The stakes are very high!" I'm. Newscaster... yo... What?
They're trying to hype it out even
Are you watching via YouTube stream or?
But dear lord Trump has nothing to offer me.
Hopefully you're not getting lag spikes like I am, lordy.
Nope, none at all actually.
I'm not white, so I am automatically on Trump's (and his supporters') shitlist.
I can't help but wonder if the Clinton and Trump campaigns somehow managed to line up this whole Hillary in red Trump with the blue tie thing.
Oh man, this is a hell of a way to start the debate.
Isn't it? Definitely a good question.
And they keep cancelling the streams lol
I have to pick new ones.
I'm pretty sure the cbsn stream is free I didn't have to log in or anything.
Probably blocked in my country though.
Oh no but now there's video-audio desync I can't watch Hillary's face while she talks.
Huzzah, much more stable.
I don't think I've ever watched one of your debates, tbh.
I've never watched a general election debate in full.
Because I've always voted Dem.
I always watch our debates, because we have more choices
Laughs as Trump immediately cleaves to Hillary's answer.
And I swing between two parties.
(Yeah first past the post is shit.)
"Reduce taxes from 35% to 15%" does he want the economy to collapse
Look sometimes trickle down economics is the only bullshit a gop candidate can spout.
Also Trump is literally anti-every country that isn't the USA holy shit. He straight up threw China in the dirt, and dragged Mexico while he was at it.
That's literally not how anything works.
Man trumped-up trickle-down is such a great sound bite though.
That's literal perfection.
A+ for Hillary talking to the audience, and not attacking Trump or anyone though. Good debate tactic.
Ahahaha very small loan. That line is always great.
I am now keeping a tally of how many times Trump drags China, holy fuck.
...and a Mexico tally, too.
Oh man is the moderator about to correct him.
He'll say his bit after Trump's answer I think.
Ah, I see, is trying to push him back to the question.
...because that's so easy.
Not quite the same thing.
Just tell them they can't go.
Obviously companies have ways to just shut that whole thing down, don't you know? You can just make jobs stop leaving
I feel like he has to be wrong, the US must tax incoming goods.
And make things expensive? People don't like rising prices
I don't know what the percentage is.
I feel like he is, he's trying to drag Hillary. /to google!
But everyone else in NAFTA taxes the goods, so why wouldn't they?
Actually under Nafta, those tarriffs are supposed to have been eliminated iirc, but I think it was supposed to go both ways.
Difficult to google, whoops
So they did, I stand corrected.
They just levy taxes on the consumers instead.
I mean, I'm sure they would have anyway
...That. That was a trainwreck.
Hillary, please don't sell your book right now
Now I definitely have Hamilton song stuck in my head thanks to this Joshua Green person on twitter.
'Trump should be shouting less and smiling more, like Clinton.'
Oh man the real-time fact checker on her website is brilliant though.
Lol Douglas MacArthur being name-dropped.
And now just everyone shouting over the moderator.
>talks about interest rates causing a bubble
>immediately uses his high income as some sort of evidence supporting him
I know why you have a trade deficit
And it literally doesn't work like you think it does
You have 10 x our population....obviously you are going to import more than we are.
I'm impressed Trump knows the word 'braggadocious.'
If you don't want a trade deficit, control your population
Now that's a line that would get in trouble
(To be fair, it's not population alone. We also have a trade deficit with China.)
(While population is part of it, we spent a lot of years telling our population that to be successful was to move from working class to middle class, which meant people wanted to leave manufacturing jobs and i-
mport products from out of the country.)
Well his whining about NAFTA is probably a lot of popluation based nonsense. But the consumers in China were a different caliber. It's just recently, relatively, that they are distinguishing a middle class
Before it was a lot of poverty stricken areas. Industrialization is "new" to China.
As they change, the consumerism changes.
And most likely at least with China, it will balance out the other way eventually
But you have to realize they're somewhere you guys were around 1900
And while I don't think it will take nearly as long to industrialize, it's a process.
I'm so nerdy, sorry
Trump: "that's not a fact, if X had happened it wouldn't be true."
Gravity isn't real, if objects didn't have mass it wouldn't happen.
Why do they have to have mass then?
Ruining the whole no gravity plan.
Good answer when asked if she thinks police are implicitly biased against black people.
and get THIS: even if what Trump says is true, even if everything he said is true, GOP has been downright hostile to minorities.
Obviously she couldn't have possibly said it, but I really wanted Clinton to say that the independent groups do it for the lulz.
So out of the 27 people, 16-6 said Clinton won, 5 seemingly abstained.
Out of about 15 that say they're closer to making a decision now than they were pre-debate, two said they were now in Trump's camp, the rest said they were behind Clinton.
