It seems kinda shady to tell people "don't buy this," rather than simply saying hold off on buying it until they sort the issue out.

I can't remember the last time they did something like this. But if you read into the article, it straight up says, sorry, public safety trumps objectivism at this point

I mean totally don't buy them now, obviously, that goes w/o saying. But I find it hard to believe that Samsung won't figure out the issue and correct it, or else pull them altogether if they can't, because

I think due to the fact that even replacement phones are catching fire, it's not worth the risk at this point.Plenty of other phones out there, even from Samsung.

I can't fact check this atm, but I HEARD some big carriers like AT&T have said they won't be carrying them That seems pretty nail in the coffin to me..

It makes sense for places not to be selling them until it's resolved, I'm actually surprised they still have been.
